Our Venue Pricing

When hiring our venue, the costs vary depending on your guest numbers and chosen weekday, and all price bands include VAT. The overall venue fee is split between Osmaston Park for the hire of the grounds, and TMP Events for the use of the marquee. Our season runs from 1st April to 31st October each year, and we host events during these months only.

We are currently exploring becoming approved for legal marriages, but for now we are a venue that is perfect for wedding receptions following a Church or registry office wedding.

We do have ample space both inside and outside for non-legal ceremonies, should you wish to make the most of our amazing setting for another celebration of your commitment to each other having done the legal bit elsewhere.

Our extensive list of approved caterers provides a vast selection of options to suit different tastes, budgets, and dietary requirements. Should none of them be able to cater for your particular needs, we may be able to agree to an external caterer being used for your event. There is an additional fee for this option – please contact us for further details.

We most certainly do not! One of the key aspects of our dry-hire venue is having the option to save costs where you can and for this reason, you are permitted to provide your own corkage-free drinks. There are several levels of professional bar service to choose from and a friendly, experienced team of staff to serve your drinks on the day, whether provided by you or by us.

We have a duty to maintain responsible alcohol consumption at the venue and therefore guests are not permitted to bring their own additional drinks.

For everything other than the catering and bar services, you are free to bring in any suppliers you desire or to do your own DIY wedding should you choose to. We do have a list of excellent recommended suppliers who have worked with us previously, but the final choice is yours.

In order to keep the venue as clean and clear as possible for every single booking, we don’t allow confetti either inside or outside at Osmaston Park. For you to still get wonderful photography opportunities, we have fun alternative suggestions that don’t impact our other weddings or our curious wildlife.

Fireworks and Chinese lanterns are not permitted, out of respect for and preservation of our local neighbours, livestock, and historic buildings.

On the day of your booking, you will be permitted access from 9am in the morning through to Midnight, which is the latest time your event can end. The timings for your event between these hours are up to you!

We aim to be fully transparent about our fees and any other charges related to hiring the venue and will provide you with clear information about any other associated costs before any bookings are taken.

We have a large, free parking area on site for up to 130 cars. Small areas of overspill parking may be available if required, and we have coach access and parking too.

Our marquee and top garden terrace are fully accessible for anyone using wheelchairs or other mobility aids, with fixed access ramps where required and a disabled toilet. We have not yet been able to make our lower terraces fully accessible due to our limitations when adapting historic areas of the site.

The main entrance does have steps, but we have a sloped entrance area alongside this, or can provide access straight into the marquee via a different door if required. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about accessibility at our venue.

We don’t get involved in planning or co-ordinating your wedding, but we are here to support and guide you with any questions throughout the planning process and to signpost you to any suppliers who you may be interested in. We have some excellent wedding co-ordinators in the local area and will happily recommend them should you desire some extra support on the day.

For safety reasons, we don’t allow naked flames in the venue and ask that all candles used are battery powered. The only exception to this is the small, controlled flame required for some ceremonies – please contact us for more information.

We are all avid dog lovers at Osmaston HQ and know that they are an important part of the family. Couples are permitted to have their own dog with them during the quiet part of the reception, providing you have a designated person to be responsible for their control and wellbeing and to pick up any presents they may leave outside!

Dogs must be safely cared for off-site once the drinking and dancing begins – we have some excellent doggy chaperones in the area who can provide this service for you.
